Five Clouds Brewing Company Tom and Josh bit the bullet and decided to set up their own Cuckoo brewery based in Leek, Staffs but brewing out of Torrside Brewing, focussing on brewing seasonal, forward thinking beers in keg and cask.
Macclesfield Brewing Company whilst not the first of the Macc Homebrew club to turn pro brewers, Dave was the first to set up his own brewery concentrating on creating exciting artisanal bottled beers for the discerning drinker looking to take their taste buds on an adventure beyond the world of hops.
Redwillow Brewery and bar have also been a big supporter of Macc Homebrew, Toby and the team played originally host to Macclesfield Homebrew. Redwillow were born from a passion for brewing and an uncompromising approach to flavour, Toby and Caroline founded Macclesfield’s award winning Redwillow brewery in late 2010. Their objective was simply to make the types of beer that they love to drink, big in flavour, well balanced and very drinkable. Redwillow were responsible for Macclesfield Homebrew clubs first commercial beer “Trouble at the Mill” for Macclesfield’s bi-annual Barnaby Parade.
